The Basic Controls

Your player has a small set of controls that provide a wide range of functionality. To get

started, however, you only need to understand the basic controls shown in Figure 2.

The control names and their functions are described in Table 1.

Control Name Function

◄◄ Left Button Press to Rewind or Move Backward

►► Right Button Press to Fast Forward or Move Forward

▲ Up Button Press to move up, for example, to increase the volume or

move the selector to a music file up higher in a list

▼ Down Button Press to move down, for example, to lower the volume or

move the selector to a music file lower down in a list

Select Button Press down to select a choice or to access screen menus

Play/Stop Play/Stop Button Press to play, stop, or turn your player on
